Pink Bear Club – Wood Street Whimsy 2012

Wood Street Whimsy was a four-week living installation by the Pink Bear Club in February 2012.

Producer  of the Pink Bear Club Kayleigh O’Keefe secured a unit at the market and brought the character of Pink Bear and his whimsical woodland habitat indoors for a month of Live Art, exclusive video screenings and playful interaction.

In 2012 a number of units at Wood Street Indoor Market were offered up for short-term free rentals as part of a scheme to rejuvenate this quirky hidden gem of East London. Kayleigh saw potential for the Pink Bear Club to use this space as a participatory Live Art experience, and also to bring other Artists in to take advantage of this.
